Franc Melo premiers his surrealistic visuals for “Coming Home” off of his debut album “LOST”

Franc Melo premieres his surrealistic visuals for “Coming Home” off of his debut album, LOST. The video’s artistic approach combines mirror imagery with intriguing, memorable characters, providing an imaginative landscape for a cinematic experience. Lost in his own mind, the video follows Franc Melo as he tries to find his way home. Along the way, he is guided by The Keymaker, a teleporting, Renaissance birdman, but pursued by The Overseer, a dapper, extraterrestrial.

Musically, “Coming Home” supplies a sophisticated hip-hop bounce, crafted by in-house
producer, Royaltone. Franc Melo’s entendre-riddled lyrics relate history with his story, a reoccurring theme throughout his debut album, LOST, which is now available on SpotifySoundCloud, and iTunes.

Lyrics:

PRE-VERSE

I wrote this flying over oceans
Business Imma mind mine till I’m older
Between lines for your mind to be open
I’m just way to deep on the low key
Too deep on the low key
Lost on my way coming home and it's on me
How are we supposed to know
Where we're going?

VERSE 1

First things first let every letter shock
I'll preach a paradox floatin' on an elephant
Machiavelli on, more like the Renaissance
Spacey from gory to elegant
House of cards in the shape of a pentagon
Make flaws too odd for you to bet a pawn
Thought caught flight
Hit the height of a decepticon
Revenant, hope lost like heaven's gone
Climb a storey to the story that I'm telling
Tales you embellish resembling what hell is
Hope to explore the trap door that I fell in
Found a broken ladder from the cellar to the attic
Dead trees root of all evil
Addiction to the fiction that’s a long needle
They deceive and divide but we're all equal
How far will you go if the blind lead you?

CHORUS

Only time will tell
Wasting that’s a lonely road
Don’t you wait for me
Cause I ain't coming home...
Only time will tell
What you waiting for?
Don’t you wait for me
Cause I ain't coming home...
Who got you
Going off the walls of make believe?
You can do what you want to
It's all within a day for me
Who really lost who
And blurred the lines of history?
You can do what you want to
Or fall in line

VERSE 2

Foot through the door C4 the foundation
The rooftop of my imagination
Loose ends left those in the basement
Basically hiding the lows that we're facing
3rd eye zoning frozen deeper meditation
All the stones they laid before me
Helped to show me what I’m chasing
System broken, switch your focus, fix it later
Chose the latter
Ladder up to outer space
What’s choice when you're living in the matrix?
I’m gone Franc Melo in the spaceship
Only leaving if I’m levitating
Only leaving through the phone
On hold, tell them call me later
"Operator send me home", thought I'd never say it
I swear patience turned me to a patient
Reservation for the renovation
What’s the weight of waiting?

CHORUS

Only time will tell
Wasting that’s a lonely road
Don’t you wait for me
Cause I ain't coming home…
Only time will tell
What you waiting for?
Don’t you wait for me
Cause I ain't coming home…
Who got you
Going off the walls of make believe?
You can do what you want to
It's all within a day for me
Who really lost who
And blurred the lines of history?
You can do what you want to
Or fall in line

BRIDGE

You think you getting far
But you ain't going nowhere at all
You think you getting far
But you ain't going nowhere it all

OUTRO

Only time will tell
Wasting that’s a lonely road
Don’t you wait for me
Cause I ain't coming home…
Only time will tell
What you waiting for?
Don’t you wait for me
Cause I ain't coming home…
